In 2019 we will once again bring together our friends with Parkinson’s, their families and care-givers for a special evening to connect. At this special event our attendees form lifelong friendships, share their personal stories and learn how others cope with the disease. We offer Parkinson’s Family Night as an evening of entertainment, education, socializing, renewed hope, and a well deserved, relaxing dinner out!

This year our special program is called "The Faces of Parkinson's!" We spent the first six months of 2019 conducting extensive in person interviews with Parkinson’s friends. Our goal was to tell the tale of each person’s journey with Parkinson’s, how it has impacted their life’s work or hobbies, and offer an account of what they have done differently because of the disease. We wanted to find out and share more about our Parkinson’s family here in the Midwest. The culmination of this work is the Faces of Parkinson’s book (see cover above) and a video we will share at Family Night on September 9th! Please join us at this storytelling event to receive a copy of the book (one/family) and participate in an evening of sharing and caring.
ROCK STEADY BOXING classes have proven that anyone, at any level of Parkinson’s, can actually lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier/happier life through exercise.
