At prior events we have welcomed fascinating speakers to talk about their own Parkinson’s journey. This year our special program is called "The Faces of Parkinson's," because we want to tell your interesting personal stories and those of your family members and care-givers. We will be compiling a book and video called “The Faces of Parkinson’s,” in which we will tell the tales of each individual’s journey with Parkinson’s, how it has impacted their life’s work or hobbies, and offer an account of what they have done differently because of the disease. We want to find out and share more about our Parkinson’s family here in the Midwest!

For three consecutive years during the month of September SOL Fitness has hosted the Annual Parkinson’s Family Night. In 2019 we will once again bring together our friends with Parkinson’s, their families and care-givers for a special evening to connect. At this special event our attendees form lifelong friendships, share their personal stories and learn how others cope with the disease. We offer Parkinson’s Family Night as an evening of entertainment, education, socializing, renewed hope, and a well deserved, relaxing dinner out! We hope you will save the date for September 9th, 2019.
