We are learning every day that there are ways in which people with Parkinson’s disease can enhance their daily quality of life and even build impressive power, strength, flexibility, and speed! By exercising with coaches who know the ropes, you can fight your way out of the corner and start to feel and function better. Boxing works by moving your body in all planes of motion while continuously changing the routine as you progress through the workout. These classes have proven that anyone, at any level of Parkinson’s, can actually lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier/happier life.

Trainer Connie Udell is a certified Health Coach. Health coaching emphasizes a trio of skills; behavioral, nutritional and physical training to guide clients through lifestyle changes related to weight management.

Health coaches guide clients through goal-setting, education, MOTIVATION, programming, support, appropriate progressions, and referral when necessary. SOL Fitness and Personal Training is a “size-friendly” studio working to achieve a goal of a healthier lifestyle!

Chair Yoga - a modified yoga that is done seated and in standing positions. Chair yoga uses breath to aid in relaxation and stress reduction. Stretching and yoga poses help to build balance and flexibility. Chair yoga is perfect for seniors, yoga beginners, anyone that lacks balance and flexibility, anyone that can't or doesn't want to get on the floor. Also for anyone looking to relax and reduce stress.
